Jeff Kahn, from the Allentown Pennsylvania area, specializes in large scale kinetic sculptures that move silently and fluidly with the slightest breeze, using balance and gravity to define their movement. His finely created works, composed of steel and aluminum reflect his 40 year work history as a jeweler and machinist. Jeff’s works are represented in private, corporate, and museum collections. Transcending Tides was selected by the Allis’s because of its movement reminiscent of the flow of waving grasses and forbs throughout their meadows.
