Phase 1: Call To Art

The Phase 1 Call to Art closed on February 18, 2019

The Bower: Sculpture Park and Gardens Phase 1 Call to Art for outdoor sculpture commissions was published on the Submittable.com website on January 18, 2019. Submissions were due February 18, 2019.

The Proposal process entailed three steps:

• Request for Qualifications from which a long list of artists was selected.
• Request for Proposal from which a short list was selected
• Request for Project Specific Proposals for which an honorarium was provided to short listed artists submitting these final proposals.
